Welcome students, to our fifth session exploring the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals! Our focus today will be on goal number five, Gender Equality. This goal calls for ending all forms of discrimination against women and girls everywhere and achieving gender equality in all aspects of life. We’ll examine what gender inequality looks like across the globe and how everyone can work together to achieve gender equality and empower individuals of all genders everywhere.

Empowering each other is being a Force for Health!

  • Support local organizations that advocate for gender equality and women’s rights.
  • Organize a workshop or event to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality in your community.
  • Volunteer at a local women’s shelter or crisis center to provide support and resources for victims of domestic violence and abuse.
