This multigenerational, Saturday Science STEAM TEAM, part of the Advance the Dream empowerment series, lead by Joshua Williams, Jr. and the You Do Matter Foundation is designed to introduce the concept of comparing the functions of different parts of the human body to the functions of parts of a computer and technology.

Welcome to Technology and ME, where we support multigenerational members to learn about and compare the human systems and technology systems in a way that will increase both health and digital literacy skills at the same time.

This is Saturday STEAM TEAM is hosted by You Do Matter Foundation, part of the Advance the Dream Empowerment Series focused on addressing minority health disparity issues, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

  • This club is powered by the Force for Health® Network and includes:

  • This is a 12 week program that kicks off February 25, 2023, and will be held on Saturday mornings.  Participants can join via zoom through our virtual classroom and meeting space or in person at one of the hosted events.  Current event sites include Shady Tree Empowerment Center in Gretna, FL and the Dryades YMCA in New Orleans.

On-line participants should have access to a computer with camera, along with cellphones, and should join from a quiet place.

In person participants will be hosted in a computer lab, so just bring cell phones.
