Mifflin County Babe Ruth 14U All Stars Falls To Eau Claire, Wisconsin – Ohio Valley Regional Champion After Fifth Inning Score

Mifflin County Babe Ruth 14U All- Stars stayed in it until the end, but Eau Claire, Wisconsin – Ohio Valley Regional Champion pulled away late in a 10-3 victory on Sunday.

Eau Claire, Wisconsin was down 3-1 in the top of the fifth inning when an error scored three runs for Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Mifflin County struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing and giving up 10 runs.

In the first inning, Eau Claire, Wisconsin got their offense started. An error scored one run for Eau Claire.

Mifflin County Babe Ruth evened things up at one in the bottom of the third inning. Elliot Yetter grounded out, scoring one run. Thompson was on the mound for Eau Claire. The ace allowed three hits and three runs over four innings, striking out six.

Madden Weaver led things off on the hill for Mifflin County. The bulldog went four and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on two hits and striking out three. Chase Hartung and Yetter entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and one inning respectively.

Reese Christine led Mifflin County  with two hits in four at bats. Eau Claire, Wisconsin totaled eight hits. Weiler, Burrows, and Bjghor all had multiple hits for the Ohio Valley Regional Champion.
