I am getting so much better. Now walking with a stick versus needing the chair or the walker. The body heals itself but it is even better when your spouse, kids, and grandchildren are part of your life. They give you something to live for and also create activities that don’t feel like rehab but advance your health and capabilities.

My grandson turned 4 today and wanted a “Fruitopia” of a party because he loved fruit, so that’s what his folks provided. What a great idea… a fruit themed party with lots of great choices in addition to a traditional cake. How cool are these forces for health trend setters.

Did you know? This is “Sinandila”, a sticky rice treat from Apayao, is also known as “Inandilla” in Kalinga?
It’s a tasty reminder of the provinces’ shared history. Before 1995, Apayao and Kalinga were one province called Kalinga-Apayao. While they’re now separate, their cultural ties remain strong.
