World AIDS Day
Each year on December 1, the World AIDS Campaign hosts World AIDS Day to raise awareness, fight stigma, and improve education about HIV/AIDS. Promote this NHO within your networks using these toolkits from HIV.gov and healthfinder, and share heathfinder’s easy-to-understand resources on getting tested for HIV and talking with the doctor about HIV testing. You can also learn about lessons we’ve learned in the fight against HIV/AIDS about the importance of partnerships in this blog post. And be sure to check out the Healthy People 2020 HIV topic area to find out about national objectives focused on reducing the burden of HIV.
