Big Second Inning Propels Mifflin County Babe Ruth 14U All-Stars To Victory Over Willston, ND – Host Team

An eight-run second inning led Mifflin County Babe Ruth 14U All-Stars to a 14-4 victory on Thursday. Mifflin County’s big inning was driven by singles by Elliot Yetter, Reese Christine, Logan Ruth, and Gavin Powell and an error on a ball put in play by Bo Reeder.

Mifflin County fired up the offense in the first inning. Christine hit a solo MC notched eight runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Yetter, Christine, Ruth, and Powell and an error on a ball put in play by Reeder.

Yetter was on the mound for Mifflin County. The bulldog surrendered one run on two hits over two and a third innings, striking out four and walking zero.

Mendoza toed the rubber for Willston, ND . The pitcher surrendered eight runs on five hits over one and two-thirds innings. Jeannotte and Bernal entered the game as relief, throwing four and two-thirds innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Mifflin County Babe tallied one home run on the day. Christine went yard in the first inning.
