In Episode 1, Dr. Lawrence Brown introduces the Community Health Garden to show WHY some communities have a higher rate of COVID-19 compared to others.

After giving this context, Dr. Brown proceeds to highlight data from the U.S. COVID-19 Atlas (created by the University of Chicago Center for Spatial Data Science).

He is currently tracking six counties/cities: Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, Baltimore City, Prince George’s County (Maryland), and Crittenden County (Arkansas).
