Background

Why I am a Force for Health® Member...

You know, we may use the gym, are not gym teachers! We teach exercise health literacy concepts and fitness for life. The Force for Health aligns well with my needs and anchors for physical and mental fitness for my students to learn, and live, and then teach others.

How I use the Force for Health Network Tools

All my students and staff and some parents make their own fitness educational and activity plans with the Basics.

Many become Ambassadors, and I enroll them in challenges specific stretching, exercise, and relaxation programs guided by the Virtual Wellness Club app. For a few, I mentor them for virtual PE over summer quarter and others, with moonlighting and personal training!

The FFH GO app, has made our campus and town a PokeMon GO like game for academic, civics and health education, and in the meantime, gets my obese kids and parents to move and walk without stigmatizing them. They are just part of the team having fun!
