I just become a grandfather again on Father’s Day. It made me think of the role my father and many neighbors played in my life. If you can, consider volunteering and getting involved with Big Brothers, and other organizations to help meet with and mentor youth that made benefit from another adult in their lives.

We have good news despite the emergence of new variants of COVID. The vaccination and boosters work to reduce severity of infection for most of us. Get the boosters, and get out more!

Finally, we have a chance to vaccinate our younger children. Over 400 children under 5 have died from COVID. You vaccinate your child for other infectious diseases. You put them in car seats and have helmets on them when on bikes. Give them protection from this virus. Have doubts, here is the CDC site…
