  Can I get the flu shot and the COVID booster shot at the same time?

  Great question! According to the CDC, the answer is YES! It is a good idea to be immunized for both illnesses. Flu normally kills 40-80,000 people a year. COVID is about 10 times that. Neither are insignificant and both of these diseases are less likely to spread if most people get the shot (herd effect). Physical distancing, hand washing and masks also reduce the spread of both.
