U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week
From November 18 to 24, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) celebrates U.S. Antibiotic Awareness Week — a time to talk about improving the use of antibiotics and combating antibiotic resistance. Use the Be Antibiotics Aware Partner Toolkit to raise awareness about the importance of appropriate antibiotic use. Check out Phase 4 of the National Action Plan to Prevent Health-Care Associated Infections to see how federal partners are working to slow the development of resistant bacteria. And share our MyHealthfinder resource to help people learn how to prevent infections when getting medical care.
