My Healthy Awesome School
Why I am a Force for Health® Member...

I am the unrecognized health resource in the community, but for many of these students, I am their first and ongoing contact to help them with their injuries, chronic disease issues, and anxiety challenges. I need to empower them to be advocates for themselves. We school nurses are the community experts at vaccination and infection prevention in many schools. We can also be the telemedicine linkages going forward.

How I use the Force for Health Network Tools

As the school nurse, I am often asked about a child’s conditions.

I use the Force for Health Academy and its 360° Human’s 1000 explanations and animations, in English and Spanish.

We use the FREE Basics to have all our students, staff and parents get a wellness plan and start their health literacy training. For those issues or. interest, we invest in the Ambassador and I use the mentoring and coaching functions and the advanced videos and audios for increased physical activity and relaxation and meditation.

We love the Reality Health Games incentives so all activities count and we can have fun competitions without stigmatizing students to be more active.
