our goal was to raise $5,000 but we only raised $255. But we found it really hard to get people to donate.

After we made the flyers we found it really hard to talk to people and hand them a flyer. But we got over our fear and handed out plenty of flyers. we then set up a tent on a rainy cold day that we sleep in overnight. It was ruff because it was cold and hard to sleep but we made it through the night into the next morning.

At first, we wanted to gather things to donate to Out of the Cold, but we found out that they were trying to raise money to build onto their shelter. So, we decided to make 8in by 6in flyer to get the word out about us sleeping out to help raise money.

We have found many people in Center County are having a hard time finding a place to live because the housing community has raised its prices so much that people can’t afford rent. I have a sister whose husband just came out of the Airforce and they just moved back here and with their income, they are having a hard time finding a place to live.…
