Seeing a friend or loved one in distress is difficult. In order to be there for them here are a few ways you can help them:
Let them know what you have been noticing (changed behaviors)
Tell them that you are here to talk to (being there) and that you CARE
Show them healthy ways that you deal with stress (distractions/ stress relievers)
Get them the proper help (get someone else involved)
Provide them with HOPE
