At first blush, the four separate disciplines of Sports, Tourism, Film and Workforce Development may seem unrelated. Compound that with the divergent interests of six unique counties that have goals and challenges of their own. And balance all this with concern for equity and inclusion of the tribal nations. What can possibly bring all this together? The Authority is about the business of enriching and revealing what it means to embrace Southern Arizona. SASTFA is an independent corporate and political body established by law but separate and independent of the state and counties it serves. Created to promote and support four core industries of Sports, Tourism, Films and Work Force Development to the benefit of Southern Arizona Counties. Namely, Greenlee, Graham, Cochise, Santa Cruz, Pima and Pinal.

Women Under the Sun

(WUTS) is a predominantly women based group of national small business owners and leaders, supporting each other’s businesses, aspirations, and shared ideas; and sharing the things we love such as art, music, dining, culture, travel, community projects, and organizations to which we are committed.
