Brings hands to mouth

Chuckles (not yet a full laugh) when you try to make her laugh

Holds a toy when you put it in their hand

Holds head steady without support when you are holding them

If hungry, opens mouth when they see a breast or bottle

Looks at their hands with interest

Looks at you, moves, or makes sounds to get or to keep your attention

Makes sounds back when you talk to them

Makes sounds like “oooo”, “aahh” (cooing)

Pushes up onto elbows/forearms when on tummy

Smiles on his own to get your attention

Turns head towards the sound of your voice

Uses their arms to swing at toys
