Professional Title	Student
Bio and Background	I am a senior at My Healthy Awesome Virtual School and I am very interested in finding out more about all of the health careers that may be interesting to me. This is why I am participating in the UH Health Scholars summer program.
Why I am a Force for Health® Member...	We will be using teh Force for Health to develop a projuect based learning (PBL) learning experience and public campaign that has to do with the social determinants of health, and working as a team to address an issue that is important to our team.
How I use the Force for Health Network Tools	Too early to tell yet, but I hope to use it to check my own health literacy and the other tools to help advance my health to be abble to better serve others.
My inspiration	My mom and dad inspire me. They are hard workers. I am also inspired by my elementary school PE Teacher, who introduced sports to me at a young age and helped frame the person I am today. I may not be good enough to play competitively in college, but I will still play, and have fun doing it. My favorite sports to play are volleyball, golf and tennis.

What would you like people to know about your community?	We are a historic region who seems to care about health and wellness for everybody, but I still notice huge differences when it comes to who has access to what. I’d like to get involved and help close those gaps. The color of your skin shouldn’t dictate how people treat you, so I’m on a mission to change what I can.
