I am a doctor in Indiana. I’m working on finishing my general surgery residency, after which I will be training to be a vascular surgeon. I have a passion for public health and global health systems and outreach. I joined the Force For Health to design a project to educate doctors in east Africa to do emergency appendix surgeries even if they don’t do surgery often. This is an important measure to help save lives from appendicitis in areas where there aren’t many surgeons.
