Program Overview

The Force for Health Network Pre-Apprentice Skills Lab Collection prepares learners ages 14–24 for healthcare education and workforce pathways by developing foundational, non-clinical competencies. The curriculum emphasizes personal readiness, communication, teamwork, professionalism, safety awareness, care navigation support, and career readiness.

Start with the Journey 21St Century Soft Skills. Follow with Skills Lab 2 and then this Skills Lab 3. These

teach and reinforce core concepts in order get along with others, survive, and thrive in a healthcare setting.

Rather than focusing on clinical procedures, the Skills Lab builds transferable skills required across healthcare roles and aligned with national education, workforce, safety, and technology standards.

This is part of the Pre-Apprentice Program and Aligns with National Standard of Non-Clinical Skills for Personal Growth. These are applicable in most settings and careers including healthcare. This series introduces and reinforces the lessons, some multiple times for emphasis. More skills and interactive experience are being added frequently. For now, take 1-2 hours and earn this Badge.
