A is for Aprapransa

TRADITION
Apapransa is a regional dish of Ga Adangbe originating in the Greater Accra
of Ghana. A dish is unusual to find outside. It is a tasty dish that is also quite
intriguing. Eating is possible in the morning or the afternoon. It is a rich and
highly nutritious local dish.

Why It Matters Nutritionally

MAIN INGREDIENTS
1 bag of palm nuts, 1 pound of meat (steamed), 3 round large crabs,
Herrings, 1 onion, 4 tomatoes, 3 garden eggs, 4 scotch bonnet pepper, 1
tablespoon of ground ginger, Roasted corn flour, Red beans (boiled


METHOD OF PREPARATION
Add palm oil to a pot for cooking. The fermented fish should be added, and
the heat should be set to medium.
Add in some sliced onions, and fry until translucent and soft
Add the pepper and onions to the pot after blending until smooth. Cook
while stirring until all the water has evaporated.
Add the tomato, cut it into pieces, and stir. Add the deboned herrings right
away. Cook while stirring
