You have the Power to Save a Life

Don’t hesitate to use naloxone or its brand named product Narcan if you suspect an overdose of abused or prescription drugs.

Spray into each nostril. Call 911. If it works, your patient or friend may suddenly wake up and be groggy or combative. After awhile the Narcan will wear off and they can slip back into a life threatening coma or die. Administer an additional dose if this happens.

Get your dose as part of your first aid kit

Please take the time to get a prescription for this drug or buy over the counter when it is available.

We all can be life savers if we have this antidote available and know how to use it
