
LuvNSol Moments that Matter with Coach Lucy: Embracing June—The Month to Stretch & Flex Your Wings
Hi friends! Happy June!
We’ve arrived at the final month of the first half of the year—a time to breathe, reflect, stretch and flex with purpose. If the months between Labor Day and Memorial Day feel like a fast-paced blur of structure and hustle, then June is that gentle nudge to shift gears into a more soulful stride.
The beauty of summer is its invitation to live on a different rhythm. With longer days, warmer nights, and space to take in more sunrises—or sunsets—whichever your soul leans toward, this is a season that whispers: you’re allowed to play, pause, and realign.
For me, summer has always felt like freedom. As a kid, it meant day trips to the beach after my chores were done, sandy toes, sun-kissed cheeks, and the joyful spirit of playtime without pressure. As an adult, I still carry that energy into summer. It’s a chance to reset the tempo, rediscover what lights me up, and reconnect with the people and projects that matter most.
June also holds the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere—landing on June 21. It’s as if the Earth herself is stretching to her fullest potential, soaking in the light before slowly returning to the rhythm of the seasons. It reminds me that we too can rise, flex, and shine, knowing that real growth also includes the ebb.
One of our STEAM Empowerment Clubs called My Girl Power, powered by the Force for Health® that is re-laanching this summer, is built around four pillars that feel especially alive in the summertime:

- ✨ Leave Your Mark
And if there’s ever a perfect time to Flex Your Wings, it’s June.
Whether you’re exploring new places, saying “yes” to an internship, entering a fresh relationship, or diving into new passions—this is your moment. The structure of the school year fades, making room for the curiosity, creativity, and courage that help you grow in ways that are uniquely yours.
June is also a powerful time for awareness and empathy. This month we lift up voices around:
- Alzheimer’s & Brain Health
- PTSD Awareness
- Autism, Aphasia, and Sickle Cell
- National Cancer Survivors Month
- World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
- HIV Testing & Safety
…just to name a few.
It’s a reminder that while we grow, we must also care—for ourselves, and for others. Because moments that matter don’t just happen. They’re created—by showing up, by staying curious, and by living with intention.
So this month, let’s:

🌻 Move with soul.
🌞 Stretch toward the light—like the Earth does.
🕊 And boldly flex our wings as we take flight into the second half of the year.
