Stop the Bleed

Learning Objective: Save a life when there is severe bleeding.

Target Audience: Any person that is at risk for experiencing a severe injury or is with someone that suffers one. That includes all of us. This is focused on non-medical professionals such as students, coworkers, teachers, bosses, coach’s, mom’s, and professionals in training such as Community Health Workers (CHW).

The learners will learn how to effectively use direct pressure and a tourniquet and be encouraged to be ready emotionally to take action if in an emergency bleeding situation.
