Mount Union’s newest fitness center makes getting in shape even more convenient

Visitors to the Solid Rock Wellness Center are welcomed at each visit with this affirmation as they enter Mount Union’s newest fitness center. Solid Rock opened its doors for the first time on May 28, 2018, and the 24-hour gym will allow Huntingdon County residents to make good choices at any point on any day.

In addition to a fully equipped gym with cardio, strength, and free weight equipment, owner Adam Shawver and his staff provide personal training and weight loss consultation to clients.

The staff at Solid Rock Wellness Center are excited to be a Force for Health in the community by giving residents an affordable and convenient way to start making positive lifestyle changes. Regular exercise has innumerable health benefits, and the supportive staff are eager to help people introduce, maintain, or optimize the role fitness plays in their lives. Solid Rock accepts Silver Sneakers participants and is hoping to accept other types of insurance plans to finance clients’ memberships.
