MISSION STATEMENT:
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
We live in a divided nation. The events of the last four years and most certainly the insurrection at the Capitol on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 have shown us that while 2020 was an awakening to some, we still have many more that deny systemic and institutional racism exists in this country.
WE, meaning the “village”; every church, every fraternity, every sorority, every professional organization, every youth mentoring group, have the most pressing responsibility to protect, encourage and motivate our young Black men and women before they set out into the country that they have been left.
Let the Tucson Alphas be a part of this process by leading and mentoring our young Black men in our community. With your support, we can give these young men the tools they need to succeed, thrive and most importantly, SURVIVE as a Black man in the United States of America.
